Zur Aufwärtsrevision der Löhne und Gehälter durch das Statistische Bundesamt

Abstract

Im August 2019 fand in Deutschland eine turnusmäßige Generalrevision der Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen (VGR) statt. In den VGR werden etwa alle fünf Jahre die Berechnungen grundlegend überarbeitet, zuletzt war dies 2014 der Fall. Im Rahmen der Generalrevision 2019 kam es weniger so methodischen Änderungen, sondern es wurden insbesondere neue Datenquellen und Berechnungsmethoden berücksichtigt. Dies hat unter anderem für die Einkommensverteilung, den Arbeitsmarkt und die gesetzliche Rentenversicherung wichtige Implikationen.
