Krise als Chance? Auswirkungen und Chancen der COVID-19 Pandemie auf die Arbeitswelt

Abstract

Mit Ausbreitung der COVID-19-Pandemie ab 2020 stellten sich abrupt starke Herausforderungen für Gesellschaft, Politik und Unternehmen. Die sich rasch ausbreitende Virusinfektion bedrohte Gesundheit und Leben und forderte daher drastische Maßnahmen, vor allem mit dem Ziel der Kontaktbeschränkungen. Darüber hinaus wurden u.a. internationale Kooperationen (vor allem in Form von Lieferketten) bedroht: Ausfälle wegen Krankheit, Tod oder Quarantäne waren nicht immer aufzufangen, Personal wurde für Neuorganisationen gebunden und fehlte bei den sonstigen alltäglichen Aufgaben. Mit der vorliegenden Studie wurden die Auswirkungen der Pandemie auf verschiedene Branchen untersucht. Das Interesse galt dabei vor allem den Chancen, die in den nun zwangsweise eingeführten Veränderungen stecken, insbesondere mit Blick auf ökologische und sozialverträgliche Innovationen. Im Winter 2020/21 wurden qualitative Interviews geführt, auf deren Basis im Frühjahr 2021 eine weiter greifende Online-Befragung folgte.
