Herausforderungen für die Gesundheitsversorgung in ländlichen Regionen am Beispiel des südöstlichen Hochsauerlandes

Abstract

In ländlichen Regionen ist die Sicherstellung einer ausreichenden Gesundheitsversorgung oft mit Problemen behaftet. Krankenhäuser in ländlichen Regionen stehen vor unterschiedlichsten Herausforderungen, wie zum Beispiel Fachkräftemangel, Digitalisierungsdruck und eingeschränkten finanziellen Möglichkeiten. Versorgungsgrade der ambulanten Versorgung sind in ländlichen Regionen vielmals gering. Der demografische Wandel wird das Krankheitsspektrum im südöstlichen Hochsauerland nachhaltig verändern. Es braucht neue Versorgungskonzepte und - ansätze, wie beispielsweise Spezialisierungen, Verbundbildungen und telemedizinische Leistungen.
