Abstract

Fazit der Leopoldina-Studie: -Ausbau der Bio-energie auf landwirtschaftlichen Nutzflächen nicht fortführen. -Flächenkonkurrenz: Bis zum Jahr 2030 wer-den ca. 500 Mio. ha zusätzliche Agrarfläche für die menschliche Ernährung benötigt. -Flächenverbrauch und Bauprojekte auf 'Grüner Wiese': Zwischen 1997 und 2000 wurden bundesweit täglich 129 ha Freifläche für Siedlung und Verkehr in Anspruch genommen. -Urbanes Brach- und Freiflächenpotential wird für Stadtentwicklung und die Erzeugung von Biomasse bis heute nicht ausgeschöpft. -Insbesondere Bergbauflächen im Steinkohlerevier eignen sich aufgrund ihrer Größe und Lage für den Anbau von Biomasse. -CultNature Ansatz: Urbane Brach- und Freiflächen für BioMontanParks nutzen und städtische Potentiale heben.
