Gute Arbeitsstandards weltweit: Einblicke in die Umsetzungspraxis und Weiterentwicklung globaler Rahmenabkommen

Abstract

Globale Rahmenabkommen sollen die Rechte der Beschäftigten weltweit schützen. Ihre Wachstumsdynamik lässt allerdings nach, sodass ihre Verbreitung weitgehend auf multinationale Unterneh-men aus Europa beschränkt bleibt. Die Umsetzung globaler Rahmenabkommen hängt entscheidend von den vereinbarten Prozessnormen ab. Vor allem systematische und kontinuierliche Prozesse der Informierung, Überwachung und Problemlösung sind für eine gute Umsetzungspraxis förderlich. Eine gute Umsetzungspraxis beruht zudem auf den weltweiten Vernetzungen von Interessenvertreter*innen. Und umgekehrt können solche Vernetzungen durch globale Rahmenabkommen maßgeblich befördert werden. Globale Rahmenabkommen haben das Potenzial, eine bestehende Lücke in Lieferkettengesetzen zu schließen und im Zusammenspiel mit ihnen als ein wichtiger Baustein für die Sicherung globaler Arbeitsstandards zu dienen.
