Gut abgesichert im dualen Studium? Ergebnisse einer Befragung dual Studierender

Abstract

Duale Studienangebote werden in Deutschland von ca. 120.000 Studierenden wahrgenommen. Nahezu alle dual Studierenden (98,0 %) erhalten eine Ausbildungsvergütung von ihrem Praxisbetrieb; fast jede*r Zweite kann mit diesem Geld den Grundbedarf des Lebensunterhalts (sehr) gut bestreiten. Trotzdem muss eine relevant große Gruppe auf weitere Finanzquellen zurückgreifen: 55,7 % erhalten monetäre Unterstützung von ihrer Familie und 16,7 % gehen einem Nebenjob nach. Ein wesentlicher Posten im Monatsbudget sind studienrelevante Kosten, wie Studiengebühren oder Lernmittel, zu denen etwa jede*r Zweite keinerlei Zuschüsse vonseiten des Ausbildungsbetriebs erhält. Ausbildungs- bzw. Praktikumsverträge legen für 92,5 % der dual Studierenden die wöchentlichen Arbeitszeiten und Urlaubsansprüche in ihren Praxisbetrieben fest. Betriebliche Sonderzahlungen, jährliche Steigerungen der Ausbildungsvergütungen, Freistellungen sowie ein vorzeitiger Ausbildungsabbruch sind für Anteile zwischen 41 % und 74 % von ihnen geregelt.
