Familienorientierung von Bildungsinstitutionen: Potenziale von Familienzentren im Primarbereich

Abstract

Die Familienorientierung von Bildungsinstitutionen wird als ein zentraler Faktor zum Abbau herkunftsbedingter Bildungsbenachteiligung diskutiert und kann in Schulen durch inner- und außerschulische Kooperationen - insbesondere mit der Jugendhilfe - und einen gezielten Sozialraumbezug weiterentwickelt werden. Ein Beispiel für die strategische Umsetzung einer kooperations- und sozialraumbasierten Familienorientierung stellt das Konzept des Familienzentrums im Primarbereich dar. Die Nutzung des Konzepts sollte in die Schulentwicklung sowie in eine kommunale Strategie des Zusammenwirkens von Akteuren aus Schule und Jugendhilfe eingebunden sein, idealerweise verbunden mit einer qualitätsbezogenen, nachhaltigen finanziellen Förderung.
