Abstract

In Anbetracht der derzeitigen energie- und klimapolitischen Diskussion ist für die Zukunft mit gravierenden Umwälzungen im Energiesektor zu rechnen. Dabei gibt es im Wesentlichen zwei politische Zielsetzungen: Zum Einen gilt es, die klimapolitischen Ziele bei der Reduktion der CO2-Emissionen zu erfüllen, zum Anderen muss weiterhin eine zuverlässige und kostengünstige Energieversorgung gewährleistet werden. Dies wird in Zukunft vermehrt Investitionen in die Erhöhung der Energieeffizienz, aber auch Verschiebungen zwischen den Energieträgern im Hinblick auf einen optimalen Energiemix bedeuten. Insbesondere in den Energiebereichen Wärme, Strom und Verkehr, in denen ein Großteil der Energie verwendet wird, werden sich Verschiebungen zwischen den Primärenergieträgern ergeben.
