Konjunkturprognose Deutschland: Winter 2023

Abstract

Eingetrübte Wachstumsperspektiven für 2024/25: Das HWWI rechnet für 2023 bei anhaltender Schwäche im Schlussquartal mit einem Rückgang des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts um 0,3 %. Die nach dem Bundesverfassungsgerichtsurteil zu erwartenden Einsparungen im Staatshaushalt dürften die reale Erholung im kommenden Jahr bremsen. Für 2024 wird deshalb nur mehr ein Wirtschaftswachstum von ½ % erwartet. Erst 2025 ist - ohne weitere Rückschläge - wieder mit einer etwas deutlicheren Zunahme des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts um 1 % zu rechnen. Die Inflation hat sich in diesem Jahr deutlich verringert, von mehr als 8 % zu Jahresbeginn auf zuletzt 3,2 %. Die merklich steigenden Arbeitskosten werden allerdings den weiteren Disinflationsprozess bremsen. Für den Lebenshaltungskostenindex wird nach einer Inflationsrate von durchschnittlich 6 % in diesem Jahr für 2024 nunmehr eine in Höhe von 2 ¾ % erwartet. Erst im Verlauf von 2025 wird sie sich wieder der 2-Prozent-Marke nähern. Die Prognose geht davon aus, dass der Nahostkonflikt und andere geopolitische Krisen nicht weiter eskalieren. Ansonsten müsste, zumal angesichts der momentan relativ schwachen Weltwirtschaft, mit einer globalen Wirtschaftskrise ähnlich wie in früheren derartigen Phasen gerechnet werden.
