Private Equity Monitor 2013: Eine aktuelle Bestandsaufnahme zur Übernahmetätigkeit von Private Equity Investoren in Deutschland

Abstract

- Es besteht eine lebhafte Übernahmetatigkeit durch Private Equity-Gesellschaften in Deutschland. Im Jahr 2013 wurden 191 Unternehmen, in denen 117 Tausend Arbeitnehmer beschaftigt waren, ubernommen. - Vier Funftel der Beschaftigten waren in Unternehmen mit mehr als 500 Beschaftigten angestellt. - Die Übernahmen betrafen zu rund einem Drittel Unternehmen aus dem industriellen Kernsektor (Chemie, Elektrotechnik, Fahrzeugbau und Maschinenbau). - Es waren 129 Private Equity-Gesellschaften als Kaufer aktiv. Die in den USA und Grosbritannien beheimateten Gesellschaften dominierten den deutschen Markt. - Die Finanzinvestoren veräußerten im Jahr 2013 121 Zielunternehmen, in denen 202 Tausend Mitarbeiter beschaftigt waren. - Ein Drittel aller Übernahmen fand zwischen Finanzinvestoren statt.
