Branchenanalyse Kontraktlogistik: Strukturen, Transformationen, Beschäftigungstrends - Schwerpunkt: Automotive-Kontraktlogistik

Abstract

Die Kontraktlogistik ist mit gut 300.000 Beschäftigten eine bedeutende Branche in Deutschland und ein wichtiges Element vieler Wertschöpfungssysteme in Industrie und Handel. Ein intensiver Wettbewerb, hoher Kostendruck und ein ausgeprägtes Machtgefälle zwischen Auftraggebern und Kontraktlogistikern kennzeichnen die Marktbedingungen. Strukturelle Veränderungen und Transformationen in den Kundenbranchen wie die Digitalisierung und - besonders in der Automobilindustrie - die Elektromobilität wirken sich auf die Kontraktlogistik aus. Arbeitspolitische Herausforderungen liegen im Personalmangel und bei den Arbeits- und Lohnbedingungen, die durch relativ schlechte Bezahlung, körperliche Belastungen, hohe Flexibilitätsanforderungen und zunehmende Leistungsverdichtung geprägt sind.
