Abstract

Der Textilmaschinenbau ist eine der traditionsreichsten Teilbranchen des Maschinenbaus. In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten sah sich der Textilmaschinenbau mit weitreichenden Transformationsprozessen konfrontiert. In dieser Branchenanalyse werden die strukturellen Veränderungen, Trends und Entwicklungen herausgearbeitet und im Hinblick auf ihre Auswirkungen auf die Beschäftigten und deren Interessenvertreterinnen und Interessenvertreter untersucht. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Themenfelder Globalisierung, demographischer Wandel und Fachkräftesicherung, Automatisierung und Digitalisierung sowie umweltfreundliche Produktion und Ressourceneffizienz gelegt.
