Branchenanalyse Küchenmöbelindustrie: Eine Branche in der digitalen Transformation

Abstract

Arbeit im permanenten Pilotbetrieb – so könnte die Situation in der Küchenmöbelindustrie aus Sicht der Betriebsräte zusammengefasst werden. Die Effekte aus Digitalisierung, Automatisierung und Demografie treffen auf eine Branche, die zwar weiterhin wächst und im Export deutlich aufgeholt hat. Doch noch immer ist der Wettbewerbsdruck zwischen den Herstellern immens, so dass eine weitere Konsolidierung nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann. Die Strategien zur Digitalisierung und Automatisierung ähneln sich dabei nur auf den ersten Blick. Die Betriebe gehen z. T. sehr unterschiedliche Wege und erarbeiten sich dabei Alleinstellungsmerkmale.
