Bilanzierung von Umwelt- und Sozialfolgen für mehr Nachhaltigkeit: Das Beispiel Fairphone. Eine Analyse der Auswirkungen auf Beschäftigungsstrukturen und Unternehmen

Abstract

Unser Wirtschaftssystem zerstört durch Verbrauch von Gemeingütern wie Luft, Wasser und Boden die Lebensgrundlagen unserer Nachkommen. Deshalb muss diese Externalisierung von Kosten zugunsten der Erhaltung von Gemeingütern zurückgedrängt und der Wettbewerb nachhaltiger gemacht werden. Bevor eine Internalisierung dieser Kosten gesetzlich konsequent und wirtschaftlich praktikabel verankert werden kann, muss der aus diesen Maßnahmen resultierende Strukturwandel in der Arbeitswelt analysiert werden. Diese Studie analysiert beispielhaft anhand des Unternehmens Fairphone, welche Auswirkungen entsprechende Nachhaltigkeitsmaßnahmen auf Wirtschaftszweige/Businessmodelle, Produktionsweisen und Berufsbilder/Beschäftigungsstrukturen haben können und welche speziellen Schwierigkeiten die gegenwärtige Markt- und Gesetzeslage mit sich bringt.
