Abstract

Die Auswirkungen von Innovationen und neuen Technologien auf Arbeitsplätze, Arbeitsbedingungen und Qualifizierung müssen frühzeitig sondiert und bewertet werden. Einführungsprozesse sind so zu gestalten, dass keine oder möglichst wenige negative Auswirkungen für die Beschäftigten auftreten. In einer proaktiven Rolle werden Betriebsräte immer stärker zu einem Treiber von Innovationen auf betrieblicher Ebene. Dazu gehört, dass sie frühzeitig über Innovations- und Technologietrends informiert sind. Für Gewerkschaften und ihre Vertreterinnen und Vertreter besteht darüber hinaus die besondere Herausforderung, sich mit zusätzlichem Wissen in innovations- und technologiepolitische Strategieprozesse einzubringen. Die vorgelegte Studie gibt erste Hinweise über anstehende Technologiestrends und ihre Folgen für Arbeit und Beschäftigung.
