Abstract

In diesem Working Paper wird exemplarisch am Beispiel des Duisburger Hafens die Erstellung eines Betriebskatasters nachvollzogen. Ein Betriebskataster besitzt eine große Bedeutung für wirtschaftsnahe Akteure oder auch Interessenvertretungen von Beschäftigten und kann strategisch zur Organisationsarbeit und Betriebspolitik genutzt werden. Hierbei werden verschiedenen Methoden der Datenerhebung und Datenauswertung erläutert. Ihre Stärken und Schwächen werden analysiert, und es werden Empfehlungen zur eigenständigen Erstellung von Betriebskatastern gegeben.
