Abstract

50 Jahre Arbeitsgemeinschaft Engere Mitarbeiter der Arbeitsdirektoren Stahl sind Anlass der vorliegenden Rückschau und aktuellen Beschreibung. In Kapitel 1 wird die Geschichte der Arbeitsgemeinschaft umrissen. In Perioden werden die politischen, gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Hintergründe beschrieben, ebenso die Entwicklungen der Stahlindustrie, der Mitbestimmung und des Personalwesens. Dies dient dazu, in Kapitel 2 exemplarisch drei Schwerpunkte der Arbeit der Engeren Mitarbeiter hervorzuheben: Personalpolitik und Mitbestimmung, Beschäftigungssicherung im Strukturwandel sowie Aus- und Weiterbildung. Darauf folgend wird in Kapitel 3 die Arbeitsgemeinschaft in ihrer heutigen Form beschrieben. Kapitel 4 formuliert abschließend eine Einschätzung der Rolle der Engeren Mitarbeiter im System der Montanmitbestimmung.Im Anhang werden alle bekannten Vollkonferenzen und Fachausschüssesowie Veröffentlichungen chronologisch aufgelistet.
