Der Beitrag der kapitalgedeckten Altersversorgung zur Lebensstandardsicherung

Abstract

Vor dem Hintergrund des demographischen und erwerbsstrukturellen Wandels und den damit verbundenen Finanzierungsproblemen der gesetzlichen Alterssicherungssysteme ist in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ein Paradigmenwechsel vollzogen und den Systemen der betrieblichen und der privaten Altersvorsorge eine stärkere Bedeutung zugewiesen worden. In der Folge kommt dem Zusammenspiel der drei Schichten des Alterssicherungssystems zur Gewährleistung der materiellen Absicherung im Alter eine höhere Bedeutung zu. Ziel des Projektes war es daher, zur Klärung der Frage beizutragen, in welchem Ausmaß die kapitalgedeckte Alterssicherung durch Altersvorsorgeprodukte der zweiten und dritten Schicht bisher zur Absicherung des Einkommensniveaus in der Altersphase beigetragen hat. Dazu wurde auf der Basis eines Datensatzes der Stiftung Warentest für Lebensversicherungsunternehmen und Pensionskassen die bisherige Entwicklung der Leistungen aufgezeigt. Es wurde dargestellt, inwieweit bei betrieblichen Altersvorsorgeprodukten eine Leistungsanpassung in der Auszahlungsphase erfolgte und inwieweit im Rahmen der privaten Altersvorsorge Leistungen von zertifizierten und nicht zertifizierten Altersvorsorgeprodukten bisher dynamisiert wurden.
