Stress - mind - health: The START procedure for the risk assessment and risk management of work-related stress

Abstract

This booklet represents the short version of the START-procedure for the risk assessment of mental stress at the work. This procedure has been developed in the framework of a research project funded by the Hans-Böckler-Foundation.The research project aimed at developing strategies which practitioners at company level can use for the assessment of mental stress at work in order to reduce it or to eliminate it. In this context, importance was attached to develop a procedure to be used with the active participation of the employees themselves.
