Abstract

Entwicklungspartner für innovative Fahrzeuge, Spezialist mit unverwechselbarem Produktions-Know-how oder austauschbarer Teilfertiger - welche dieser prognostizierten Entwicklungsoptionen trifft die aktuelle Situation der Zulieferindustrie am ehesten? Die Realität lässt sich wie so häufig nicht in einem Schlagwort fassen. Deutschlands Automobilzulieferer beschreiten vielfältige Wege, um sich unter den veränderten Anforderungen ihrer Kunden zu positionieren. Dabei zeigt sich, dass es auch für kleine Betriebe mit vergleichsweise wenig fortschrittlicher Produktionstechnik und -organisation ertragreiche Nischen geben kann. Ebenso stellen sich nicht nur die Systemzulieferer, sondern auch die Produzenten einfacher Zulieferteile als durchaus profitabel dar...
