Strategisches Controlling 4.0: Erfolgsfaktoren für eine digitale Transformation von Controllinginstrumenten und -steuerungssystemen

Abstract

Die Digitalisierung ist der maßgebliche Treiber des industriellen Wandels. Daher ist Industrie 4.0 auch in aller Munde und erstreckt sich längst nicht mehr auf Industrieunternehmen. Moderne Technologien verändern Unternehmensstrukturen und ganze Branchen. Ihr Einsatz, wie Big Data, künstliche Intelligenz (KI bzw. AI), Internet of Things (IoT) oder auch insb. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) wirkten und wirken sich sehr positiv auf alte und neue Geschäftsmodelle aus. Durch effizientere und schlankere Prozesse können sich Unternehmen erhebliche Wettbewerbsvorteile gegenüber der Konkurrenz verschaffen. Eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Implementierung digitaler Instrumente spielt das Controlling. Es bildet das Herzstück der Managementunterstützung ab, denn auf Grundlage der Arbeit dieser Business Partner werden wesentliche Handlungsempfehlungen abgeleitet. Ein sachgerechtes strategisches Controllingsystem als zentraler Teilbereich fokussiert permanent und weit vorausschauend quantitative, aber vor allem qualitative Dimensionen und fundiert damit, insb. unter Einbeziehung modernster IT-Architekturen, zentrale Managemententscheidungen. Das vorliegende Research Paper verfolgt daher das Ziel, zu analysieren, welche Erfolgsfaktoren für eine Digitale Transformation von Controllinginstrumenten und -steuerungssystemen als Teilbereiche der Kybernetik im Rahmen des strategischen Controllings 4.0 bedeutsam sind. Dazu werden moderne Technologien, wie Big Data, KI, RPA bzgl. Ihres Beitrags zum Unternehmenserfolg - bspw. in Rahmen von Business Analytics, u.a. mit Business Intelligence und Advanced Analytics - analysiert und bewertet. Darüber hinaus wird diskutiert, inwieweit moderne Technologien derzeitige Controllertätigkeiten und insgesamt das Berufsbild der Controller verändern werden.
