Die Bedeutung von Open Science in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Ergebnisbericht einer Online-Befragung unter Forschenden der Wirtschaftswissenschaften an deutschen Hochschulen 2019

Abstract

Die vorliegende quantitative Studie widmet sich dem Thema Open-Science-Praktiken bei Wirtschaftsforschenden an deutschen Hochschulen. Befragt wurden insgesamt 300 Wissenschaftler*innen aus den Fächern Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Volkswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen und anderen wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fächern an Universitäten, an staatlichen Fachhochschulen bzw. Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften, an Privaten (Fach-)Hochschulen und sonstigen Hochschulen wie Fernhochschulen oder Dualen Hochschulen. Erfasst wurden Informationen zu Bekanntheit, Einstellung, Anwendung, Barrieren, Anreizen sowie zum Unterstützungsbedarf. In den Wirtschaftswissenschaften gibt es eine breite Zustimmung zu den Prinzipien von Open Science. Die Umsetzung von Open Science ist in der Breite jedoch noch ausbaufähig und es gibt einen hohen Unterstützungsbedarf hinsichtlich der Open-Science-Praktiken.
