Zum Stand der strategischen Planung in Geschäftsbanken des deutschsprachigen Raumes: Ergebnisse einer Umfrage

Abstract

In unserer Umfrage zum aktuellen Stand der strategischen Planung in Geschäftsbanken des deutschsprachigen Raumes hat sich gezeigt, daß inzwischen alle großen Kreditinstitute ein entsprechendes Planungssystem installiert haben. In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und Österreich begann man durchschnittlich am Anfang der achtiger Jahre mit der strategischen Planung, während die Schweizer Banker drei Jahre später nachzogen. Am Planungsprozeß nehmen primär der Vorstand bzw. die Geschäftsleitung sowie die zentrale Planungsabteilung teil. Sofern Fachabteilungsleiter und Filialeitern überhaupt involviert sind, erschöpft sich deren Aktivität weitgehend in der Informationsbeschaffung und der Abgabe von Stellungnahmen. Auch über die Ergebnisse der strategischen Entscheidungen bleiben sie häufig im Unklaren. Aus dem umfangreichen Instrumentarium der strategischen Planung werden neben bekannten statistischen Auswertungsmethoden vielfach qualitative Ansätze wie die Stärken-Schwächen-Analyse herangezogen …
