Veränderung des Mobilitätsverhaltens der Studierenden bei einem Teilumzug der Universität Bremen an den Standort "Am Brill"

Abstract

In der Bremer Öffentlichkeit wird aktuell ein Teilumzug der Universität Bremen an den zentralen Standort "Am Brill" intensiv diskutiert. Bisher gibt es jedoch keine Forschungen darüber, wie sich ein solcher Teilumzug auf das Mobilitätsverhalten der Studierenden auswirken würde. An dieser Stelle setzt der vorliegende Beitrag an. Anhand einer Umfrage unter den Studierenden der Universität Bremen werden die Verkehrsmittelwahl, die jeweiligen Wegzeiten zur Universität, die Benotung der Anbindung zu den jeweiligen Campus-Standorten und die Befürwortung oder Ablehnung eines Teilumzugs durch die Studierenden erfasst. Es zeigt sich, dass sich das Mobilitätsverhalten entsprechend der jeweiligen Wohnorte der Studierenden verändert und die Ablehnung oder Zustimmung eng daran gekoppelt ist, ob sich der Weg zur Universität verlängern oder verkürzen würde."
