Los determinantes del crecimiento económico. Comercio internacional, convergencia y las instituciones

Abstract

La presente obra se centra en uno de los problemas fundamentales de nuestra época: el desenvolvimiento económico de la convergencia y el crecimiento en las regiones considerando a las instituciones y el comercio internacional. A lo largo del libro el autor discute los modelos teóricos y empíricos del crecimiento y de la convergencia económica y realiza un análisis aplicado para el caso de México desde una nueva perspectiva que considera los determinantes del crecimiento y la convergencia económica, enfocándose en el comercio, la apertura comercial y las instituciones. Finalmente el estudio abarca las conclusiones del estudio de los determinantes del crecimiento y convergencia económica a nivel nacional e internacional. The present study makes an important contribution to the debate of the determinants of economic growth in Mexico.
