Un stigma positif : premier emploi au Luxembourg et trajectoire professionnelle

Abstract

Limitrophe à trois pays, le Luxembourg est un territoire économique attractif et pourvoyeur d’emplois qui attire de plus en plus de jeunes diplômés. Ce contexte territorial inédit permet d’observer des trajectoires professionnelles singulières eu égard aux décisions individuelles de migration transfrontalière. Cette contribution étudie empiriquement les trajectoires professionnelles des diplômés de l’Université de Lorraine à l’aide de trois modèles et selon différents critères explicatifs (localisation de l’emploi, secteur d’activité, filière d’étude). Disposant de niveaux de rémunérations plus importants pour un niveau de qualifications données, le Grand-Duché est considéré comme un employeur concurrentiel au sein de la Grande Région. Cet article permet, au travers de l’analyse beckerienne du marché du travail et du capital humain, de mettre en lumière l’existence de marqueurs positifs pour les anciens étudiants occupant un premier emploi au Luxembourg.
