Abstract

Pour sa première rencontre, les Après-midis de recherche du département de Science politique de l’Université de Liège ont été mis au diapason d’une approche sans frontière de la discipline, se proposant de traiter « la » Science politique au sens large. Mais qu’est-ce que la « Science politique » et quel(s) champ(s) d’étude recouvre-t-elle véritablement ?En quoi est-ce une science ?Doit-on la nommer au pluriel ou lui préférer le singulier ?Partant de l’ensemble des constats sur l’état de l’art de la Science politique, le présent volume donne à voir la « Science politique dans tous ses états ». S’ils induisent logiquement le questionnement sur les fondamentaux de la discipline, les actes des Après-midis de recherche permettront tout autant de prospecter sur ses perspectives d’avenir, et ce, au départ des recherches en cours. Les contributions poseront ainsi les questions de l’équité dans l’adaptation aux impacts du changement climatique et de la confrontation de l’incertain pour ce qui est des nanotechnologies et des Science of technology Studies, mais également la question de l’État africain et des menaces qui planent sur le Traité de Non Prolifération.
