Chile y el Desarrollo Economico

Abstract

No obstante sus avances en democracia, Chile esta lejos aun de alcanzar el ansiado Desarrollo Economico. Para hacerlo viable y sostenible, necesita crecer y efectuarlo de manera incluyente, lo que implica desarrollar un proceso de crecimiento con inclusion en paralelo, simultaneamente, en vez de avances esporadicos seguidos por recesiones, como sucedio durante la dictadura y que, con menor intensidad, viene aconteciendo desde fines de la decada de los 90. Lo que sigue es un recuento breve de mis opiniones sobre en que consiste el desarrollo economico, el grado de avance de Chile al respecto desde 1973 -en particular en los años 90 hasta el presente-, y como se logra avanzar a partir del nivel de desarrollo actual de la economia nacional. Lo ilustro con algunas de las politicas publicas a priorizar y coordinar para lograr sostenibilidad del crecimiento e inclusion.
