Abstract

La crisis económica sumió a la economía europea en un profundo letargo a lo largo de una década. La transición entre una década y otra estuvo marcada por los problemas crecientes de la política agrícola común y el impasse político en lo comunitario y los desequilibrios económicos crónicos de las economías nacionales. La bonanza económica de los años sesenta desapareció al poco de comenzados los setenta y la maquinaria social y económica europea comenzó a funcionar más con una lógica de protección de lo conseguido (relativamente ilusoria frente a la magnitud del envite exterior) que con una lógica de adaptación activa a las nuevas circunstancias.
