Análisis territorial de la repercusión de la crisis económica sobre el tejido empresarial español

Abstract

El artículo ofrece una aproximación a la geografía del tejido empresarial en España y su evolución antes y durante la actual crisis económica. Se analiza la evolución del número de empresas emplazadas en las distintas regiones, para revelar algunas pautas de localización de la actividad empresarial en los últimos años en la geografía española (en función a la rama de actividad, el tamaño y la condición jurídica) y cómo y cuándo dichas pautas cambiaron como consecuencia del estallido de la crisis en 2008, condicionando a su vez el desempeño y la recuperación desigual de los territorios en el periodo reciente. Se muestra que la dinámica empresarial a escala regional ha sido heterogénea obteniéndose pautas diferenciadas antes y durante la crisis. Se corrobora asimismo, que la ratio de procedimientos concursales a escala regional es contracíclica evolucionando positivamente conforme se deteriora la actividad productiva regional.
