Las cadenas de franquicias en España: Estrategias empresariales y organización espacial

Abstract

La expansión de las cadenas de franquicias en españa se ha convertido en una de las innovaciones que contribuye a transformas con rapidez, tanto la estructura del sector de distribución, como la propia fisonomía de los espacios de consumo en la ciudad. El estudio realizado propone una interpretación teórica sobre el significado de estas redes empresariales, que destaca tanto sus potencialidades como algunos de los costes y riesgos asociados, para centrar luego su atención en la evolución reciente y estructura actual del sector, prestando especial atención a las estrategias espaciales de franquiciadores y franquiciados, así como a las pautas de localización resultantes, para finalizar con algunas propuestas sobre líneas de investigación naturas.
