Unión Europea y Marruecos: ¿Es posible un espacio económico EuroMediterraneo?

Abstract

Desde principios del siglo XXI, la firma de acuerdos de integración regional de cuarta generación es un objetivo para la Unión Europea, de forma que la liberalización afecte también a aspectos relacionados con los servicios, las inversiones, la propiedad intelectual o la contratación pública, como vía para ampliar los beneficios que se derivan del acuerdo sobre bienes. Esta es la línea iniciada con los países euromediterráneos, y en especial con Marruecos, con el fin de llegar a un Acuerdo de Libre Comercio de alcance Profundo y Amplio. Si bien la liberalización completa de las mercancías se está avanzando mucho, no es así en los servicios o las inversiones, que es donde se encuentran los nudos de la negociación. Esta comunicación realiza un análisis de la situación actual de las negociaciones bilaterales, haciendo un especial hincapié en aquellos temas en los que sería necesario avanzar más rápido
