Abstract

[TR] Bu calismada, parasal aktarimin kredi kanali, bankalarin likidite pozisyonlari perspektifinden Turkiye bankacilik sistemi icin Ocak 2010 – Mart 2024 arasi bir donemde incelenmistir. Sonuclar, bankalarin likidite pozisyonunun arttigi donemde likidite pozisyonu ile kredi faaliyetleri arasinda beklenen iliskinin bozuldugunu ortaya koymaktadir. Analiz bulgulari, faiz politikasinin, likiditenin bol oldugu donemlerde, likidite adimlariyla guclendirilmesinin onemine vurgu yapmaktadir. [EN] In this study, the bank lending channel of monetary transmission is examined from the perspective of banks' liquidity positions for the Turkish banking system in the period between January 2010 and March 2024. The results reveal that the expected relationship between bank lending channel deteriorates in the period when the liquidity position of banks increases. The analysis findings emphasize the importance of strengthening interest rate policy with liquidity measures in those periods when liquidity is abundant.
