Le Canada et ses villes mondiales : conditions socioéconomiques à Montréal, Toronto et Vancouver

Abstract

Ce rapport a pour but d'effectuer un tableau statistique des conditions socio-économiques dans les régions métropolitaines de recensement (RMR) de Toronto, Montréal et Vancouver. L'étude met en lumière les tendances liées à la croissance de la population, la croissance de la banlieue, le navettage, l'emploi, le chômage, l'immigration, le revenu, le faible revenu, de même que les conditions économiques des immigrants, des peuples autochtones, et d'autres groupes. Les données utilisées proviennent des Recensements du Canada de 1981 à 2001, de la revue chronologique de la population active de 2005, et de l'édition 2004 du Revenu au Canada.
