Faible revenu chronique chez les immigrants au Canada et dans ses collectivités

Abstract

Le taux de faible revenu chez les immigrants demeure élevé par rapport à celui observé dans la population née au Canada. Le présent article porte sur le taux de faible revenu chronique chez les immigrants au Canada âgés de 25 ans ou plus pendant les années 2000. Un faible revenu chronique désigne un revenu familial qui se situe en dessous d’un seuil de faible revenu pendant au moins cinq années consécutives. Une mesure de faible revenu ajustée selon la région est utilisée aux fins de l’analyse.
