Étudiants internationaux, immigration et croissance des revenus : l’effet d’études universitaires prémigratoires au Canada

Abstract

La présente étude utilise de vastes ensembles de données longitudinales nationales, afin d’examiner les tendances entre les cohortes ainsi que les variations au sein des cohortes en matière de revenus pour trois groupes de jeunes diplômés universitaires : des immigrants qui sont d’anciens étudiants internationaux au Canada (immigrants ayant fait leurs études au Canada), des immigrants ayant fait leurs études à l’étranger et possédant un grade universitaire avant leur immigration au Canada et la population née au Canada.
