Reconnaissance professionnelle, achevement des programmes d'apprentissage et salaires des apprentis inscrits au Canada

Abstract

La presente etude utilise les donnees de l'Enquete nationale aupres des apprentis (ENA) de 2007 pour comparer les differences entre les salaires horaires des apprentis qui achevent leur programme d'apprentissage et ceux des apprentis qui l'abandonnent. L'objectif principal est d'estimer l'ordre de grandeur de l'ecart salarial entre ces groupes tout en tenant compte d'une large gamme de caracteristiques. En outre, la desagregation de l'echantillon des apprentis en quatre groupes qui s'excluent mutuellement, en fonction de l'achevement des programmes d'apprentissage et de l'obtention d'un certificat, permet de faire des comparaisons plus precises.
