Politiques économiques et pauvreté au Maroc : Analyse en équilibre général micro-simulé

Abstract

Depuis plusieurs années, le Maroc s’est inscrit dans une nouvelle dynamique de politiques économiques dont la libéralisation à tous les niveaux et l’attraction des investissements directs étrangers dans plusieurs secteurs d’activité. L’impact économique et social de ces politiques devait être quantifié et analysé selon plusieurs dimensions. Dans ce travail, nous nous plaçons dans ce contexte d’analyse et nous proposons une approche basée sur un Modèle Calculable d’Équilibre Général micro-simulé de l’économie marocaine. Cette analyse nous à permis de conclure qu’une politique favorisant le secteur du tourisme serait dominante. Ce résultat nous semble important capital puisque les autorités marocaines ont déclaré de façon très explicite que ce secteur est au centre de leur stratégie de développement en visant un nombre de dix millions de touriste d’ici 2010.
