Estudio Actuarial de los Fondos del Seguro de Cesantía

Abstract

El esquema de financiamiento del Seguro es tripartito, pues incluye la participación de tres actores de la economía: trabajadores, empleadores y el Estado. Dada la participación del Estado, este tiene la obligaciónon de: (i) velar por la correcta asignación de sus recursos y (ii) anticipar los potenciales problemas financieros del SC. Luego, se requiere evaluar con cierta periodicidad el funcionamiento del SC, especialmente del FCS. La SP desarrollo un modelo de proyecciónon que permite no solo proyectar y evaluar la sustentabilidad de los Fondos de Cesantía sino que tambiénen evaluar el impacto de propuestas de reforma al Seguro. Este documento presenta las proyecciones de los FC que se obtienen al utilizar dicho modelo. Las proyecciones muestran que tanto el Fondo de Cesantía Solidario como las Cuentas de Individuales de Cesantía son altamente sustentables, incluso en situaciones de crisis económicas..
