Coordination of spatial and industrial development in cluster frames. Foreign experience

Abstract

This work shows a brief overview of the main approaches to coordination of industrial and territorial development in foreign countries. Analysis of documents of strategic planning reveals that in the last time more countries have cluster initiatives aimed at solution of several tasks of economic development: stimulating of innovation activity, organization of new workplaces, creation of small businesses, attracting investments, creation of positive image and promotion of territory brand. It allows to use cluster approach for coordinated solution of questions of industry and territory development.
