The Role of the Oil and Gas Sector in the Economy of Norway

Abstract

In this paper, authors on the basis of foreign materials analyze the role of the oil and gas sector in the Norwegian economy and reveal its contribution to economic and social development of the country. The authors also give consideration to a method for controlling the oil and gas budget revenues in Norway and the role of the Government Pension Fund in the provision of budgetary commitments of the country.
