Abstract

In this work, I tried to describe the mobbing manifestation in the present society. This psychological terror in working life that Heinz Layman identified in 1990, was the basis of the approximately 10% to 20% of annual suicides in Sweden. I only focused on the overall tendencies in the research of mobbing by Layman and Ege. I also show a case that I found during my work experience of work in Italy regarding an International Transport Company. I tried to explain the type of group dynamics when the mobbing processes develop; the conflicts that tend to become harsher. For this analysis I used the quantitative method, interview and observation. Conclusions: The probable causes of mobbing in organizations are: - the wrong setup of work organization, - The lack of good management that either cannot stop the conflicts or often is a part of them or the mobbed and the individual personality of the involved members.
