Abstract

In Mexico Foreign Investments (FI) contribute to the development of specific industrial sectors. Historical aspects permit to make a link between economic fluctuations (growth and crisis) and the setting-up of foreign enterprises. Economic issues about FI in Mexico are concerning their origins, their positive and negative aspects, taking into account the international credits and the debt in general. The Mexican debt is becoming a real difficulty for creditors as well as for debtors. Investments in human capital from Mexican or American companies influence human, goods and services flows and impose some transformations in political, economical, social and financial policies in order to control and regulate those exchanges.
