Abstract

In a management economy, where the large entreprise is the standard, what is the small entreprise and its creation? The entrepreneur embodies, in popular imaginary, the orchestra man, in the sama time, founder, owner and manager of the entreprise. The portrait of the actual entreprise creator is not the same one as the entrepreneur of industrial societies first age. While in past seculars, entrepreneurs created markets thanks to their disruptive innovations (chemical, transport, medicine, household equipment and others), today, they cover niches unemployed by large entreprises. The modern entrepreneurs are those who can take advantage of the markets; those who become indispensable. The nature and density of comercial and financial network, and personal relations created by the entrepreneur will determine its success or failure. Entrepreneur’s success depends on its capacity to surround himself whith people... more intelligent than he is.
