Abstract

At the turning point of a new century and millennium, it seems relevant to wonder about the legitimacy and role of innovative entrepreneur in the third millennium. That is why, from debates within the Diploma of Advanced Studies « Entrepreneurship and Industrial Redeployment » (Littoral University at Dunkirk, 1999-2000), I collected seven contributions and realised this working paper to analyse several features of the innovative entrepreneur. This document presents three main aspects. First it introduces the vision of the third millennium entrepreneurship; second the behaviour of innovative entrepreneur opposed to the « big » enterprise; and third a typology of third millennium entrepreneurs.
