Hechos Estilizados del Sistema Bancario Peruano

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo identificar el tipo de relación que existe entre un conjunto de variables del sistema bancario y un grupo de variables macroeconómicas; así como describir las características estadísticas de los principales indicadores financieros a nivel de bancos y la interrelación entre estos. A través de estos, podemos recoger evidencia sobre qué factores básicos, tanto como variables y tipo de relación, deben tenerse en cuenta para la elaboración de modelos de proyección y pruebas de estrés en el sistema bancario. Los resultados nos ayudan a establecer patrones básicos sobre qué debe considerarse para elaborar modelos relacionados al sistema bancario tanto a nivel agregado como desagregado.
