Quantitative and qualitative aspects regarding housing in the European Union and Romania

Abstract

Housing is a fundamental aspect of modern society, an indicator of standard of living and prosperity, which is influenced by a multitude of economic, social, environmental factors. Also, housing is the core-element of many regional and urban policies, national, regional or communitarian funded. This article aims to analyze the factors that may contribute to a certain standard of living and the situation in the European Union and Romania.
