Abstract

This document examines Madagascar's economic potential and business environment to guide foreign investors toward high-growth sectors. Based on PESTEL and SWOT analyses using the World Bank's Business Ready report, it highlights key advantages: streamlined business registration, low operational costs, and favorable trade conditions. However, challenges persist, including unreliable utilities, limited digital infrastructure, weak regulations, and insufficient competition safeguards. Recommendations focus on strategic investments in digital infrastructure, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and inclusive financial services, promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
