El legado económico de la independencia en el Perú

Abstract

This text examines the economic consequences that there brought the war of independence of Peru in the short one and the long term. It examines which was the trend or economic cycle in the twilights of the colonial period, which were the costs of the war and which was the economic politics pushed by the State once gained the sovereignty. It serves to advance some reflections on the economic inheritance that brought the Independence to Peru, which can be summarized in short of mining protectionism, tax relief and fall of commercial production.
