Abstract

Estudio preparado para el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas en el que se busca evaluar los impactos del crecimiento económico del Perú sobre el bienestar de las familias en espaecial las más pobres. El estudio sirvió, además, para encontrar imporantes problemas en las encuestas de hogares (ENAHO) de los años 2003 al 2005 debido a varias razones entre las cuales el rechazo de las familias a responder la encuesta fue particularmente importante.Esto limitó de manera significativa las posibilidadaes de hacer el estudio de manera confiable. Lo más destacable fue que luego de este trabajo y otras evaluaciones más profundas de las ENAHO impulsaron una revisión profunda de las bases de datos y el desarrollo de métodos de corrección de los problemas identificados.
